Nicely Knit

I never mastered knitting, and crochet is my yarn twisting hobby. I found this amazing shop, TheHunnyBunnyCompany, on zibbet full of adorable knit animals. It brings back tender memories of my mom knitting little pocket rabbits for my brothers, and even a turtle for me. I know how much work and love goes into these adorable Hunny Bunny friends, and they will be passed down and treasured for generations.

My dad would hide a bunny in the living room and my brothers and I would search for it. What a wonderful game that was.

I can relate to this knitter's overwhelming string of creative ideas, and knot enough time to get them done as quickly as she would like. Having or giving one of these handmade treasures is so uplifting. Her creations have gone out internationally giving hugs and smiles.

The Well-Dressed Bear

A stunning group of very stylish bears is found at Ash Grove Bears, an ArtFire shop. Vicki is a teddy bear artist who has been bringing her bear friends to life for over 15 years. Although officially retired, she can’t give up sewing and enjoys dressing her bears in exceptional outfits, and especially delights in making their elegant hats.

Vicki truly loves what she does and feels a connection to her ancestors through her sewing and millinery skills. She lovingly names her bears and composes a poem for each as they head out into the world. Her unique creations would be a thoughtful gift for any serious bear collector.

Vicki crafts her striking bears in Canada and ships to the United States. You won’t find a finer dressed bear anywhere. These collectible bears are not designed for play, and should be kept for proud display.

     

Yoyo Bunnies!

I had never heard of crocheted yoyos before I ran across this shop. The only yoyos I knew of were made of fabric. The wonderful creativity of the artisan community never ceases to amaze me. I certainly enjoy exploring new shops every week.

Sherri loves to crochet, and this is very evident by the over 80 crocheted items you will find in her CraftisArt shop. Besides these adorable bunnies awaiting adoption, you will find dainty ballet slippers waiting for a princess, a roll-it-up checkers set, blankets, bags, a pizza hot mat, and so many other unique items that you will just have to take a peek.
